What's your best guess as to what the top 6 will look like on opening night assuming Chara plays?

"Points" as in "Defensemen?"

It's not that bad; I'm sure you may have one or two guys that stick with your big club. Not all your defensemen can be usless........can they?

What happens if the younger guys just totally kill it while Seidenberg and Chara (if he misses time) are out at the beginning of the season?

People just really don't give Tuukka enough credit... he alone makes the difference in points between the Leafs and the Bruins

Then we will trade away the best one or two so that we can make room for the vets..........duh!

They are probably real a-holes anyways!

Yeah, I don't get it either. Elite Goalie? Check. Elite center depth? Check. #1 Shutdown D man? Check. "Experts": 7th in division.

This off season also confirms that David Krejci is the most underrated player in the league. People don't seem to understand his impact, theyre just brushing off his return

Morrow for 2 months of Brendan Morrow was another boneheaded move by Shero. Wish we still had him. Then Pouliot could start in WBS because he's got some work to do with his head.

Were the Bruins really expect Seidenberg and Chara to not get injured for an entire season? Or are they that confident in their AHL defense-man depth?

Was at the Rangers preseason game the other night and made the mistake of not grabbing a roster but on the eye test alone I think Colin Miller is a solid defense-man in the NHL this season. His shot is +++ but his vision needs work. I like Morrow and Miller as depth guys but I don't see a number 1 defense-man on this roster. Chara when healthy maybe but I think that ship his sailed. Think this team is going to struggle this year big time. Out scoring teams not happening, grinding teams out not happening. Rask can't play every game, think the Monster ends up the B's back up goalie.

I think the East shakes out
1. TB 2. Habs 3. Sens
1. Rangers 2. Caps 3. Pens
WC- Isles, Columbus

The Metro is loaded this season, while the Sabres, Panthers, Wings, Philly aren't the automatic W's on the schedule for the B's anymore.

The Bs can be ass-holes but it's kinda silly thinking they are intentionally TRYING to hurt players, isn't it?

I mean, Marchand is a pest along the burrows type , but trying to hurt people........? Plus he has made a 180 over the last couple seasons.

Lucic is also dirty and I would 100% agree to being a tool, but it's the same crap that Corey Perry does.

And can we stop with the Chara is trying to injure nonsense. The Pax insistent was a huge fluke and he is a "mean guy," not dirty.

You want to whine about something then what about the Pens with COOKE and ORPIK.........pick one, either one has SINGLE HANDEDLY injured more players than the Bs as a whole over the last decade.

How about that gem Scott that you guys had on your team two seasons ago........it took him what, 10 seconds to (frank) up Ericksson and ruin his whole season.

Savard career ended by a Cooke hit to th head.........Neely ended by Claude Lemieux sticks and knees to the knee. We know "cheap shot artists" here in Boston.

Please smarten up with the foolishness.

"He’ll be re-evaluated on Monday,” Julien said. “Things continue to at least stay positive in our minds.” Quote from a DJ Bean article in weei.

Quote of the year already for Clode Vader! Well, as long as everything is going well "in our minds" I guess the real world doesn't matter!

While I might normally have sat people down depending what they replied to trolls, such an obvious cry for attention didn't warrant me caring about what others wrote

My apologies as well...

Anyways, Boston sent down Subban and Macyntire, so Smith or Gus as back-up. Guess we expected that. They also sent down some players, is there anywhere that shows who is left?
